Verified I couldn't be happier with the work Sun Light did to repair and clean our Moroccan rug. It'a a hand woven piece, at least 40 years old, vegetable dye, was actually torn in spots from excessive wear. The rug now looks brand new, the repair work is invisible and the cleaning really brought out the richness of the colors. Pick up, estimate and delivery were a breeze. Just amazing!

Verified We had our 100% flax Pottery Barn blackout drapes dried cleaned. Reuven and his team of highly skilled professionals did a superb job. One of them is white and returned whiter! They disconnect the drapes themselves from the rings and on their return they put them up again without causing any damage or messing up our place. We will definetely call them for our rugs or upholtery since with the drapes it was shown that they are people of great skill.

Verified Reuven and his team were super helpful in dealing with my clothes moth issue. They gave lots of great tips, arrived for prompt service, and followed up to make sure the problem was really solved. I hope I don't have to use the service again, but if I do, I will call Reuven!

Verified We asked the company to clean a fully carpeted basement apartment that tenants had let rabbits run feee in for eight years, and was looking pretty dire overall. Harrison suggested that we pay for a deep cleaning rather than the basic service--then proceeded to restore the carpet from various shades of brown and gray to nearly white. Bonus--the place smells amazing for the first time in many years. Highly recommend.

Rug Care & Restoration

A few weeks ago, I had Haim Shemesh clean my sofa & I was very pleased. He was professional, the price was reasonable & my sofa looks brand new again!

Sunlight Customer, Oriental Rug Cleaning

I had Haim Shemesh from Sunlight clean all my area rugs. He did a fabulous job! They are all handmade Orientals and he took them to a place that soaks them in a tub and hand washes them the way it’s supposed to be done. They look so much better and brighter Haim came to my apt to give me an estimate, took the rugs, then delivered them back to me a week later. He even helped me set them back up, including moving furniture around to do so. Prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend doing business with him!

Sunlight Customer, Oriental Rug Cleaning

Haim Shemesh of Sunlight Carpet and Restoration is courteous and professional. He picked up my damaged and dirty (and badly in need of repair) rugs and gave me a detailed and very honest estimate as to the work that needed to be done. Within approximately two weeks he returned my rugs and unrolled them in the living room and dining area.

They were unrecognizable! The carpets that came back from Haim were rejuvenated, repaired lush to the touch and rich with their original hues and patterns. To use his words, “They are alive again!” I highly recommend Sunlight Rug Care and Restoration and will be recommending this company to my friends. It was a pleasure to work with someone such as Haim who has such passion for his craft and takes extraordinary pride in his workmanship….Not to mention he’s just a very nice guy with whom it is a pleasure to have a conversation.

“Dear Haim,
It has been so very busy here, thank God, that I never had the chance to formally thank you for the absolutely beautiful job you and your team did with our rugs and sofa. I know when a job is superior and such is the case, much to my surprise, upon entering the apartment after you completed the work.
Thank you again – you will ever be our service provider etc…“
